About Us

Tullycarnet Community Support Services Ltd was first formed in 1991 and called Tullycarnet Community Forum. It was formed by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive following a report commissioned to look at issues affecting residents living within housing estates.  Local Community Groups came together to look at self-help services to develop the area and find way to solve local problems involving education, environmental, health and social issues.  Today we are called Tullycarnet Community Support Services Ltd (TCSS) and were formed into a Charitable Company in April 1996. We are managed by a varied group of people such as local residents, political representatives and statutory agencies. Committee members are volunteers, we have no paid positions on this board.  Our Aims are to bring about improvements to the residents daily lives by providing specific services to help improve the lifestyles of the local people.  We meet monthly and discuss our intervention programmes and to seek funding to provide the services to the community. We employ a small workforce and have a number of volunteers who assist in delivering the services.

CORE VALUES:
To deliver programs that are specifically designed to meet the needs of the local residents.

We believe in working along-side as many local groups and agencies as possible to avoid duplication and to ensure the best network of cover for the residents in our area.  Key associates are listed below.
