​Preschool Class


We provide 32 full time pre-school education places each year, based at our playgroup facility in Tullycarnet Primary School.  All of the children have access to our sensory play cabin and ongoing advice and training is provided for the parents/guardians of the pre-school attendees.  Our experienced and dedicated pre-school team are committed to providing a safe and clean learn through play environment for the children to develop and grow uniquely in preparation for starting primary 1.  For more information please contact the Playgroup Manager Donna on 028 9048 1627.

Adult Education


​TCSS oversees and partners with a number of training providers and careers advisers to deliver training opportunities all year round for over 16's living within the Tullycarnet area.  Many of the training places are free of charge to local residents and theses additional qualifications are a much welcomed bolster to their Cirriculim Vitaes.   Classes are delivered in a range of formats.  Accredited certificates such as Essential Skills Numeracy, Literacy and I.C.T. Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, First Aid and selection of free personal developement courses are available.  For more information please contact the Training Assistant Michelle on 028 90501133. 

Health and Well-being and Safety in the Community


We facilitate a number of health and well-being
initiatives throughout the year primarily through our groups and serivces.  Everything from weekly counselling sessions to safety talks in the community.  We partner with Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service to promote home fire safety, the Police Service of Northern Ireland to promote personal and home safety and  we signpost to various help groups and specilized services such as FASA, PIPS and East Belfast Community Development Agency.  For more information please contact the Project Co-ordinator Ann on 028 90501133.

Senior Citizens Services


TCSS Vintage Diners meet every week in Tullycarnet Resource Centre for a 3-Course meal and afternoon activities.  This group is thriving with new members joining regularly.  With the Kitchen Manager and her team of volunteers they deliver a much enjoyed program for the senior citizens ranging from afternoon bingo and board games to guest speakers, shows, health checks and trips out.  We are also part of the Good Morning Network that provide daily calls to the elderly and offer security measures to senior citizens across Belfast.  For more information please contact the Vintage Diners Co-ordinator Margaret on 028 90501133.
